No grey day blues for me

From pale and barely there all the way to steely charcoal, the colour grey is currently making itself known amongst the fashion elite. Working on blondes, brunettes and redheads alike, the only factor that seems important when working this look is skin tone. Generally the rule is that if the skin has a healthy spring/summer glow, it will pop and the colour grey will compliment it beautifully. However, the very pale skinned do need to be careful of light grey as it can very easily wash them out.
There is no limit to which pieces of clothing can be worn in grey, so experiment with all over block colour as well as accents using accessories and jewellery. In this chilly February, take a leaf out of Kate Moss, Elettra Weidemann and Diane Kruger’s book and wrap up in some grey fur. To take the look to evening, make it metallic with metal and silver textures worked into the look.
