Kenzo Fall 2012

Fun and practical - two words that are usually put together to describe something practical, the 'fun' part being a gimmick to entice you to buy it. However, this is exactly how I would describe Kenzo's new line, created by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. With an array of colours, patterns, fabrics and prints, the fun part is the first thing you notice. The functional part comes second.

"For Fall, we’ve created garments with zip-off pieces that provide an element of transformation — a coat will zip off to become a cropped jacket and skirt. We also focused on technological fabric treatments, like rubberized exteriors on coats to fend off rain."
