Another Vivienne Westwood show rolls around and once again she is proving she plays to the beat of her own, rather eccentric, drum. And thank god. Without her we wouldn't have that, much needed, constant reminder to take ourselves too seriously. This season, Westwood was inspired by 19th century England, and sent a selection of layered floor-length skirts, fitted tweed blazers and intricate bodices down the runway. The collection was modernised and given that signature Westwood flamboyance by the presence of bubblegum coloured fur, punk tees and union jack leggings. She even sent one model down on a bicycle! Good old Vivienne, flying the flag for Britain across the channel. Man, the girl did us proud.
